On November 3, 2009, a technical agreement between the Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence and one of the largest banks in Estonia, SEB (Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken), was signed. The document will facilitate mutually beneficial research and development between the two institutions in the arena of IT and information security. It will remain in effect for 3 years.
The agreement was signed by CCD COE Director Col Ilmar Tamm and Mr Ain Rasva, Head of Information Technology, SEB. The signed document does not allow for the sharing of any personal data.
Col Tamm is convinced that the proposed cooperation with SEB will yield invaluable insight into the current challenges of cyber security. According to Tamm, “Co-operating with an organisation that daily deals with guaranteeing the highest quality and security of information systems will undoubtedly lead to beneficial research.”
