The Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCD COE) and NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) today hold a workshop at the CCD COE focusing on NATO’s vulnerabilities and challenges in the cyber commons. “NATO in the Cyber Commons” workshop brings together participants from ACT and CCD COE as well as experts from the private sector.
NATO’s stakes in the cyber commons, ways of strengthening secure access and the use of cyberspace in support of Alliance’s security are among topics discussed during the day. The overall aim of the workshop is to make recommendations for NATO’s way ahead in developing relevant capabilities and shaping policies.
Allied Command Transformation “Global Commons Strategic Issues” project aims at identifying the vulnerabilities and challenges affecting NATO’s assured access to the global commons (outer space, international waters, airspace and cyberspace).
