Videos, proceedings and other materials from the 7th Conference on Cyber Conflict, CyCon 2015, are now available online.
Speakers at CyCon 2015 included Admiral Michael S. Rogers of the US Cyber Command and National Security Agency, NATO Assistant Secretary General Ambassador Sorin Ducaru as well as numerous academics, industry leaders and cyber experts. The topic “Architectures in Cyberspace” asked what cyberspace is and will be in the coming years as well as how cyber security will develop.
CyCon is organized annually by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence and approaches the key theme from legal, technology and strategy perspectives.
CyCon 2016 will take place on 31 May – 3 June. The conference focuses on how the traditional concept of power applies to cyberspace. The issues to be covered include international cooperation, technical challenges and requirements, conflict in cyberspace, legal framework, regulations and standards. The call for papers for the 8th International Conference on Cyber Conflict (CyCon 2016) seeks original unpublished research and is open until October 1st.
