Participate in NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence’s annual CyCon conference by volunteering.
The 7th International Conference on Cyber Conflict (CyCon 2015), held on 26-29 May 2015 in Tallinn, Estonia, will focus on the construction of the Internet and its potential future development. This year’s topic – “Architectures in Cyberspace” – asks what cyberspace is and will be in the coming years as well as what are its characteristics relevant for cyber security. Last year, CyCon 2014 brought together more than 500 experts from government, military, academia and the private sector from 40 nations.
Undergraduate and graduate student volunteers are invited to assist with the administration of the conference and in exchange will receive free conference registration, access to conference proceedings and will also be provided with meals and invited to take part in all social events. Student volunteers have the opportunity to hear and learn about the latest cyber trends and meet leading experts around the world while contributing to the success of this annual event.
Various volunteer roles will be available at CyCon 2015:
- Monitoring conference sessions and assisting speakers
- Assisting at the registration/welcome desk
- Checking badges during special events
- Etc.
Volunteers should be available in Tallinn, Estonia May 25-29, 2015. CyCon 2015 will be held in the conference centre of Swissotel, located at Tornimäe 3, Tallinn, Estonia. More information about the conference can be found on its webpage at www.cycon.org.
