The first International Conference on Cyber Conflict in the U.S. (CyCon U.S.) will focus on the topic Protecting the Future and take place in Washington, D.C on October 21-23, 2016. Paper submission deadline for the event is July 8.
CyCon U.S. is a collaborative effort by the Army Cyber Institute at the United States Military Academy and the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in Tallinn, Estonia. Akin to the CyCon conferences held in Tallinn, Estonia, the conference facilitates information exchange among government officials, academia, and industry.
What are the systems, processes, and organizational features that must be developed now to fortify our defence and ensure future success? What can be done to strengthen strategic defences and safeguard society’s mutual interests? Is there a solution that can enable a favourable outcome or even guarantee a realistic expectation of protection for networks? What policies and techniques can create incentives for and facilitate cooperation toward protecting everyone at all levels in cyberspace? These questions will be addressed at CyCon U.S.
