CyCon 2018 Papers are Expected by 2 October
The Call for CyCon 2018 Papers closes on 2 October 2017. The 10th International Conference on Cyber Conflict, hosted by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, from 29 May to 1 June 2018
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the conference NATO CCDCOE is offering the cyber security community the opportunity to shape the focus of the annual event. Instead of setting a predefined core topic for this conference, trusted research community is welcomed to submit original research papers on their choice of the most topical and current cyber security issues, from technical, legal, policy, strategy or military perspectives.
Authors are invited to submit, by 2 October, an abstract of the planned paper, which describes the topic, sets out the main goals and structure of the study (300–500 words). After a preliminary review and the acceptance of the abstract, the respective authors will be requested to submit original and unpublished papers (up to 6000 words) meeting high academic research standards. Submitted papers will be subject to a double blind peer review.

Authors of papers accepted for publishing in the conference proceedings are requested to make a corresponding presentation at the conference. Speakers will be offered travel and accommodation for the duration of the conference as well as social events in Tallinn.
The International Conference on Cyber Conflict is a unique annual conference hosting all focus areas of cyber conflict in a single event. CyCon brings together the different tribes of cyber defence – techies, lawyers, researchers, policy advisors, industry experts, government officials and military top brass. The 9th International Conference on Cyber Conflict, CyCon 2017, took place in Tallinn from May 30th to June 2nd 2017, joining altogether nearly 600 key experts and decision-makers of the global cyber defence community.
