NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) in cooperation with William & Mary’s Global Innovation Challenge (WMGIC) has published a new e-book ‘WMGIC x NATO ACT Cybersecurity Challenge’ edited by K. Floyd, K. Hoving, T. Lawrence, H. Liu, N. Perez, and P. Pernik. The publication contains the winning pitches and all other student ideas featured in the November 12, 2021 virtual competition co-hosted with NATO Allied Command Transformation’s (NATO ACT) Cyber Space Branch. Over the course of six hours, 56 undergraduate student teams from 52 universities developed solutions to address election meddling and disinformation in the NATO Alliance. This was done in consultation with expert mentors from NATO member nations and each team was judged by a two-person panel on the following criteria: feasibility & effectiveness, creativity, privacy, sustainability, and fiscal pragmatism.
